make a real difference to the future of the British horticulture industry:

UK: HDC looking for new board members

The Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board (AHDB) is looking for two independent members and an individual with experience in the hardy nursery stock sector to join the Board of its GB horticulture division: HDC. You will assist the Chair in developing strategy, overseeing financial issues and ensuring effective governance. It will be expected that the expert member will play an active role in the industry within their specialism. Sector Board members are expected to make a time commitment of around 2 days per month and attend all Board meetings (up to four a year), with additional requirements agreed with the Sector Board Chair. We can offer a challenging opportunity for you to contribute to the GB horticulture industry and make a difference to AHDB. You will need to be professional, flexible and adaptable in order to support the change that is required to develop the on-going success of HDC and AHDB.
