James Wong, Kew-trained botanist, BBC science presenter & obsessive foodie grower, will be sharing an insight into the expectations of the younger generation at HTA Garden Futures 2013.
During his talk ‘Getting the Next Generation into Gardening’ the audience will hear directly from young people talking about their likes and wishes of gardening and garden retail, and how the industry needs to adapt to appeal to them.
James’ fresh presentation will give his perspective of what the garden centre of the future might need to be like in order to attract and enthuse the next generation of gardeners.
James Wong is just one of the specialist speakers presenting at the business focussed event sponsored by Bord na Mona, Hozelock and Scotts Miracle-Gro.
The dinner and conference take place on Wednesday 16 and Thursday 17 October 2013 at One Great George Street, Westminster. For more information and to download your booking form visit www.gardenfutures.org.uk
