Lead Agronomist – Greenhouse Vegetable Production (m/f/d)
We are looking for an experienced Lead Agronomist to drive all aspects of high-tech vegetable production. This pivotal role combines crop management, leadership, and data-driven innovation.
What you can expect:
- Lead full-cycle crop production
- Optimize fertigation, irrigation, pruning, and climate parameters
- Implement and oversee IPM programs
- Analyze production data and KPIs
- Manage, train, and mentor local agronomy teams
- Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and management teams
What is required:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agronomy or Horticulture
- 5+ years of experience managing high-tech greenhouses for vegetables
- Proficiency with greenhouse automation systems
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Strong data literacy – capable of interpreting IoT and crop data
- Fluency in English
- Readiness to relocate to West Africa
