Gautier Seeds Tomato Trials 2013

Propagated by HollandPlant, the tomato crops where sowed on 10/23/2012 and grafted on Maxifort and Optifort rootstocks in the second week of November 2012. The crops were planted on Cultilene Optimax rockwool slabs on December 6, 2012. After planting the plants where also manually vaccinated with the Pepino Mozaik Virus.

AL 165 is a new Plum tomato on the vine with a deep red color and a strong restance against Tmv and BES (Blossom End Rot). It has been cultivated in both standard and lit crops. The production is good and judged by WUR's taste pannel, the taste is better than current crops that are available in this segment. The variety will be commercially marketed under the name Aubade.
