Paul van Dijck of Harmoniz Netherlands will henceforth present the new varieties not in eeh barn at the grower's, but in a brand new demo centre, including Thursday 'Israeli warmth', referring to the breeding company's Israeli roots.
Luke van Adrichem of Metazet explains why those 'steel benders from Wateringen' really need a greenhouse to test and demonstrate innovations after all.

Quite a serious canteen, as you can see.
Leander Kolen, Dirk Prins and Marcel Beekenkamp of Priva with Ary de Jong of HortiTech. He tests Priva innovations such as Priva One in PROOF's greenhouse.
The catering was well done, and the tomatoes, of course, were from Harmoniz, which specialises in specialties.
On the façade behind the canvas is life-size PROOF
John van Santen of Metazet provides an appropriate roll in the background.
The glass was left on the greenhouse during the extensive renovation, but otherwise almost everything else is new.
Paul van Dijck of Harmoniz Netherlands in the demo room with the Harmoniz tomatoes. Striking detail: the trusses used here. These were left over, and have given the interior an extra horticultural touch.
Hans Peters from Priva came to bring the gift, here in a private chat with Perry and Ary from HortiTech.
Time for the tour.
Kees Zuidgeest of Koppert listens attentively to Harmoniz's Paul van Dijck explain.

Socialising with Leo van Adrichem in one of the greenhouse compartments. PROOF has 21 of them, ranging from 150 to 1,200 square metres.
Explanation by Luke van Adrichem of Metazet on innovation MetaFIT. With it, you can install heating pipes without welding. On the right, Martin van Tol (LetsGrow.com), Martin van Zeijl (Bom Group) and Tom Zwinkels (Growers United/Bryte) listen attentively.
The greenhouse is equipped with insect netting.
Pim and Ronald Verkade of Verkade Klimaat get a bit of explanation from Hans van der Vlis of Metazet.
Ary de Jong of HortiTech explaining autonomous growing. In the background Ronald Groen of Looije Agro Technics subjecting the greenhouse roof to a brief inspection.
Pim Verkade (Verkade Klimaat) and Patrick Zuidgeest (Bestplant) listen to the explanation of the graphs shown by Ary de Jong of HortiTech.
This high-speed door at MeerDeur was open for the occasion, but after the opening, the corridor to PROOF's greenhouses can be visited by appointment only. This way, innovative companies can take steps in peace.
With 21 greenhouse compartments, everything has to be controlled properly and separately. One of Stolze's tracking cabinets takes care of this.
Freek Batist (Technokas) and Dolf van der Hoeven (Metazet) listen to Luke van Adrichem of Metazet during the tour.
No doubt a crop will soon appear here. The screen cloth and also the air hose are ready.
HortiTech's classroom was also where the gifts were temporarily stored.
Perry van Adrichem of HortiTech in the (wonderfully air-conditioned) classroom.
Peet van Adrichem in 'the kitchen', the water technology room.
Here, recipes are made with the help of a Nutronic.
In total, they make seven liquid fertiliser-based recipes at PROOF.
For those in the know.
The water technology room is also equipped with UV-C disinfection.
Rainwater plenty this year, Peet told us, but reverse osmosis is available if needed.
Observant visitors also came across a prototype of Metazet's revamped tube lift in the greenhouse.
Going home with a bvo. We are going to PROOF those for a while.
