Source.ag, the data and AI platform for professional greenhouse horticulture, today announced the launch of WhisperGrow, a first-of-its-kind AI tool that analyses crop data and delivers personalised daily affirmations for individual plants directly to your phone.
The module, available from 1 April 2026, draws on a growing body of peer-reviewed research demonstrating that acoustic stimulation produces measurable yield increases across multiple crop types. A landmark study published in the Journal of Integrative Agriculture (Hassanien et al., 2013) found yield improvements of up to +37.1% in cucumber, +30.05% in sweet pepper, and +13.2% in tomato under controlled acoustic greenhouse conditions.

How it works
WhisperGrow integrates directly with Source's existing platform, drawing on real-time data including growth stage, EC levels, truss count, forecast data and historical yield performance to generate a personalised daily affirmation for each individual plant. Affirmations are delivered to growers each morning via push notification, ready to be read aloud during the morning walk.

Early adopter response
"We piloted WhisperGrow across three rows last season," said one Dutch tomato grower who participated in the closed beta, and who asked not to be named. "I was sceptical. But the data doesn't lie. The plants that were tested with WhisperGrow outperformed the rest of the crop within six weeks. I'm not saying they understood the words. But something was different."
