In the Dutch province of Friesland, many cucumbers, peppers, tomatoes and strawberries are grown in professional greenhouses. To ensure a reliable water supply all year round, numerous metal water tanks and film basins can be found at these greenhouses.
At one nearby greenhouse, NPI Water Storage replaced the liner in one of the metal water tanks. The old liner had been in use for over 20 years, so it was time for a new one.

Supervision for liner replacement
Under the supervision of NPI Water Storage, a small team from the greenhouse installed the new liner. With a diameter of 20.3 m and a height of 3.81 m, this was a substantial tank. Heavy rain made the work challenging, but after a few hours, the wall and bottom fleece were installed, the new liner was in place, and all inlets were fitted. Refilling the tank allowed the irrigation system to start running again, ensuring everything was in place to continue producing top-quality cucumbers.
