New Managing Director announced by Grodan

Grodan has announced that Eric Lekkerkerk has been appointed Managing Director of Grodan, effective 1 July 2026. Eric joins Grodan from Klasmann-Deilmann, bringing over 25 years of experience in horticulture and a strong international track record.

With more than 25 years of experience in the horticulture and crop input sectors, Eric brings a strong track record in international business development, commercial leadership and strategic growth. Throughout his career, he has worked in both large multinational organisations and family-owned businesses, consistently driving performance in globally oriented and innovation-driven environments.

Eric is also familiar with Grodan, having worked for the company in the mid-1990s, where he gained early experience in the horticulture sector. He will be based at Grodan's headquarters in Roermond, the Netherlands.

Eric Lekkerkerk succeeds Hub Janssen, who stepped down as Managing Director at the end of January 2026.

To ensure continuity for customers and partners, Anders Espe Kristensen, Senior Vice President of Rockwool's Systems Division (which includes Grodan), will continue to serve as interim Managing Director until Eric Lekkerkerk assumes the role on 1 July 2026.
