The initiative will establish greenhouses managed by groups of five families, providing them with practical training in seed selection, irrigation practices, and crop management. The program aims to enable year-round production of fresh, nutritious vegetables while creating sustainable income opportunities for rural households.

Beyond improving vegetable production, the project is expected to strengthen local food security, support rural employment, and build agricultural skills. The greenhouse systems will also help farmers adapt to ongoing challenges in Afghan agriculture, including water scarcity, climate change, and limited access to technical training following consecutive droughts.

By combining modern greenhouse techniques with hands-on farmer education, the initiative seeks to improve productivity and resilience in vulnerable farming communities.
