As an initial demonstration of the program's impact, Veganic presented the results of its Open Days held in Almería in February, where a successful case study was validated in snack cucumber cultivation under real production conditions.
According to the trial results, the program delivered several measurable improvements in sustainability and agronomic efficiency:
- 55% reduction in the use of synthetic chemical products
- Equivalent pest and disease control efficacy
- 10 times lower residue levels at harvest
- 60% reduction in environmental impact
- 60% reduction in chemical active substances
- 13% increase in production
- Improved farm profitability with a positive return on investment of nearly €1 per m²
