Dalsem has announced a partnership with Harvest Singularity for the development of a 3-hectare high-tech lettuce greenhouse in Newberry, Florida. Construction of the facility will commence in May 2026 and marks the first phase of a long-term strategic collaboration between the two companies.
The greenhouse is designed to meet the highest standards of modern horticulture and is engineered to deliver reliable, high-performance production in Florida's warm and humid climate. Once operational, the facility will supply the U.S. market with fresh, locally grown, pesticide-free lettuce, contributing to a more resilient and sustainable food system for decades to come.
From the initial concept onward, Dalsem and Harvest Singularity worked in close collaboration to develop a greenhouse design fully aligned with Harvest Singularity's ambitions. The result is a tailor-made solution that balances financial performance, climate optimization, and operational efficiency. This project represents the first step in a broader rollout of multiple greenhouse projects totaling 3 hectares, combining advanced technology, sustainability, and scalability.
All core components of the greenhouse are designed and manufactured by Dalsem, ensuring full system integration and consistent quality. The facility will be equipped with Dalsem Air Technology 2.0, the latest generation semi-closed greenhouse system featuring advanced cooling technology. In combination with a state-of-the-art LED grow lighting installation and an NFT mobile gutter growing system, the greenhouse is optimized for year-round, high-yield lettuce production.
