Indoor Ag-Con pre-events unite industry

Birdies, bogeys, and greenhouses

It was not much about pars, birdies, spares, or bunkers yesterday evening; it was more about greenhouses, vertical farms, business, and meeting up with old and new friends. Traditionally, Indoor Ag-Con kicked off with the network event at Atomic Golf, hosted by Signify and Svensson. Growers, suppliers, researchers, and investors united to talk the industry through with drinks, foods, and clubbing - golf clubs, that is.

Although the official Indoor Ag-Con program begins today, the past few days have already been filled with CEA activity. In recent years, several North American CEA organizations have aligned their meetings with the event, turning it into a broader industry gathering.

Yesterday, the Aquaponics Association hosted its conference, the CEA Alliance introduced its newly appointed 2026 Board of Directors, and a pre-conference workshop welcomed open-field growers into the world of controlled environment agriculture.

Keynote
In a few hours, the Las Vegas event will open its doors and kick off with a keynote by Tom Stenzel, CEA Aliance, after what the state of the industry is discussed with Dane Almassy, chief commercial officer, Local Bounti, Aaron Fields, CEO, Campo Caribe, Jesper Hansen, chief commercial officer, YesHealth Group, Josh McClung, chief operating officer, Cox Farms. After that, workshops will be held, and, during a gala lunch, the CEAs Awards will be handed out, following the opening of the trade show floor at 12:00.

So, enough to do enough to see - more updates to follow!
