With a temperature of -8 to -4 celsius it's pretty cold in Berlin, and due to this temperature, snow, and the local environmental regulations prohibiting the use of de-icing salt, the pavements are icy and very slippery. But that did not stop thousands of exhibitors and visitors of Fruit Logistica 2026 from arriving at Messe Berlin, where the trade show started this morning.

As could also be seen at IPM, horticultural suppliers seem to be more critical of which exhibitions to participate in, and this also results in a stable participation of greenhouse suppliers, of which the majority can be found in hall 3.1, with some added companies in Dutch hall 3.2, and breeders and growers being throughout the venue.
