The latest edition of the Fruit and Vegetable Industry Fair (TSW) attracted 21,000 visitors from Poland and abroad, an increase of 4,000 compared to the previous year.
A total of 508 companies presented their offers on an exhibition area of nearly 4 hectares, the largest in the event's history. The exhibitors included almost 100 international companies, with participants from countries considered particularly exotic for the Polish market, such as Congo, Senegal, and New Zealand.
Organizers noted not only the high visitor numbers, but also the strong interest from international fruit and vegetable producers. Exhibitors emphasized the professionalism of attendees and their readiness for substantive business discussions. The event was also attended by the Ambassador of New Zealand, who visited the stand of a company from his country and announced plans to encourage broader participation by New Zealand companies at future editions of TSW.

Exhibition stands were largely focused on technologies addressing key production challenges. These included automation and robotics, cost-reduction solutions, precision fertilization and crop protection systems, and digital tools supporting farm management. Visitors were presented with new machinery, prototypes, AI-based technologies, as well as solutions for storage and post-harvest handling.
Industry conferences formed a strong pillar of the event, covering orchard production, vegetable production, berry crops such as currants and raspberries, strawberries, viticulture, and protected cultivation. Experts discussed current strategies related to crop protection, fertilization, storage, logistics, and farm management under increasing cost pressure and changing climate conditions. High attendance levels confirmed the growing demand for specialized, practical knowledge among producers.

An important part of the program was the awarding of the Prof. Szczepan A. Pieniążek Innovation Award, which recognizes innovations in horticulture. Awards were presented to Andermatt Polska, Niva-Top, and Max Crop. A distinction was also granted to the new apple variety 'Sander' (AJAPPLE).
Considerable interest was also generated by the Fruit Grower of the Year 2025 competition. The main title was awarded to Tomasz Piasecki from Palczew in the Mazovia region, while additional distinctions went to producers from the Grójec region and the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship.

Strong attention from professional participants was once again focused on the Business Zone, which served as a central hub for B2B meetings. Discussions there centered on investments in new technological lines, farm modernization, and the implementation of precision horticulture solutions.
The latest edition of TSW confirmed that the fair continues to serve as a key platform for technology presentation, the exchange of production experience, and direct business meetings for the fruit and vegetable sector. The next, 17th edition of TSW is scheduled to take place in January 2027 at Targi Kielce.
