Oboya Horticulture has announced that Flores El Trigal from GHT Group and Flores Silvestres have invested in Oboya's APV (Automated Pulling Vehicle) to strengthen harvest logistics, reduce physically demanding labor, and accelerate productivity across their plantations.
The APV is designed to automate the transportation of harvested crops from the field to collection points, replacing labor-intensive manual pulling. By streamlining this critical post-harvest stage, the solution enables faster workflows, safer working conditions, and a significantly shorter return on investment.
Both clients will deploy the APV in daily operations to support harvest transport, a process that traditionally requires intensive physical effort and large field crews. With the APV, loads are moved efficiently and consistently, allowing teams to focus on higher-value tasks while improving overall operational performance.
"At Oboya, we design solutions that solve real operational challenges in the field," said Robert Wu, Founder of Oboya Horticulture. "The APV was developed to address one of the most physically demanding and time-consuming stages of harvest operations. By automating transport, growers can improve productivity, protect their workforce, and see a clear and fast return on investment, all at the same time."

The APV is available in light and heavy configurations, supporting loads from 500 kg up to 3,000 kg, and is powered by vehicle-standard lithium batteries. Its dual-motor drive system and remote-controlled operation allow it to adapt to different field conditions while maintaining energy efficiency and ease of use.
According to projections from both clients, the investment is expected to deliver a return within 10% in 2 years, driven by reduced labor costs, faster harvest cycles, and improved operational consistency.
"Harvest transportation has always been one of the most labor-intensive parts of our operation," said Eng. Luis Genes, Operational Manager from
Flores Silvestres. "With the APV, we are reducing physical strain on our teams while moving product more efficiently through the field. This investment supports both our productivity goals and our responsibility to improve working conditions."
"What stood out to us was the balance between performance and practicality," added Eng. Juan Andres Flores, Operational Manager from El Trigal. "The APV integrates easily into our existing workflow, adapts well to field conditions, and helps us manage labor challenges more effectively. We expect it to play a key role in improving efficiency and shortening payback time.".
