Field trip on greenhouse construction in Morocco

Students from the Institut Agronomique et Vétérinaire Hassan II – Complexe Horticole d'Agadir (IAV Hassan II CHA) recently took part in an educational field trip focused on greenhouse construction. The visit, held on Saturday, was organized as part of the institute's training activities in horticulture and plant production engineering.

The field trip aimed to enhance students' technical understanding of greenhouse systems by examining different types of structures, construction materials, and the climatic and mechanical constraints that influence their performance. Participants were able to observe real-world applications of theoretical concepts and analyze the technical choices that contribute to greenhouse efficiency and productivity.

Supervisors and industry professionals accompanied the group, providing practical explanations and sharing their expertise on site. The activity contributed to bridging the gap between academic learning and professional practice, while reinforcing students' engagement with the technical and applied aspects of horticultural engineering.
