Smart Vegetables Innovations has launched the third module of its greenhouse facility in Zdunów, marking a further stage in the development of its hydroponic production operations. Each greenhouse module covers approximately 1.5 hectares. With the commissioning of the new module, the company now operates more than 4.5 hectares of crops under controlled growing conditions. The facility is located around 50 kilometers north of Warsaw and is based on a modular production model.
The expansion increases Smart Vegetables Innovations' production capacity by approximately 30 percent. According to the company, this improvement is expected to enhance volume predictability and ensure more stable year-round availability for its partners, including retail, HoReCa, and private-label customers.
The additional scale also supports greater standardization of processes and product quality, reducing dependency on seasonal factors. Furthermore, the expansion enables increased automation of selected operations, allowing the company to respond more efficiently to growing market demand.
Smart Vegetables Innovations highlighted the role of its internal teams and business partners in achieving this milestone. The company emphasized that the new module strengthens the resilience of the domestic supply chain for fresh salads and herbs in Poland, rather than serving solely as an increase in physical production space.
The company has indicated that discussions regarding cooperation for 2026, including deliveries, private-label projects, and joint initiatives, are open to interested partners.
