AmericanHort has opened the nomination and application period for its Board of Directors. Eligible members may submit applications or nominate candidates through February 13, 2026. Nominations must be completed online at AmericanHort.org/BoardApply. Elections are scheduled to take place in March.
The AmericanHort Board of Directors is responsible for providing governance oversight and setting strategic direction for the association, including its programs and advocacy efforts on behalf of the horticulture industry.
According to AmericanHort, candidates for board service should demonstrate strategic thinking, a governance-focused perspective, and the ability to commit time and resources to support the association and the broader green industry.
Following the close of the nomination period, the Nominating Committee will review submissions and establish a slate of candidates. AmericanHort members will then vote to approve directors and officers during the March voting period.
Newly elected directors and officers will be formally installed at Cultivate'26, to be held in Columbus, Ohio.
