Biome Delta has signed a distribution partnership with Quantified Sensor Technology (Quantified) to distribute a high-performance wireless monitoring suite for climate and fertigation systems. This partnership brings a data-rich sensor solution to the region, enabling enhanced grower decision-making through granular climate, root zone, and plant-level insights.
Under the agreement, Biome Delta and its channel partners will work with greenhouse growers to incorporate Quantified's wireless sensor network into the technology stack of mid- and high-tech greenhouses. A core component of this partnership is the InSight data platform and API, which is compatible with major platforms including Priva, Source.ag, Let'sGrow.com, and IIVO.
"We are very pleased to collaborate with Biome Delta in the North American market," said Paul Kengen, Founder and CEO of Quantified. "Biome Delta is perfectly positioned to offer our sensor solutions to American and Canadian growers, helping them optimize their greenhouse climate, fertigation, and labour efficiency."

In addition to software integrations, the partnership features two key hardware layers that create a holistic sensor solution. The FireFly node gathers climate data and acts as a communication hub, connecting with external sensor offerings to provide critical insights across the greenhouse.
One component of this system is the Infrared Thermometer, which captures infrared temperature data to monitor evapotranspiration at the plant level. This allows growers to detect stress responses, such as stomatal closure, as early indicators of unseen stressors. Another component is the Smart Gutter, which enables optimization of fertigation and input use by monitoring feed and drain solution temperature, electrical conductivity, and volume, along with root zone temperature, EC, pH, and slab weight. The Crop Weight Monitor, a hanging scale designed for high-wire crops such as tomatoes and cucumbers, tracks crop weight over time to support harvesting at optimal picking weights and maximize crop value.

"Costly resources, evolving crop needs, and prevalent risks keep growers' targets moving. Automated metrics on plant and root vitality, climate uniformity, and input-use efficiency allow growers to quantify crop needs, conserve resources, and mitigate risks proactively," said Eliot Merrill, Founder of Biome Delta. "We're looking forward to working alongside Quantified to serve growers in North America."
