French market shows interest in sustainability and automation

Au revoir Angers! Well, almost that is. In a few hours, the trade show Sival is closing its doors for the 2026 edition. Exhibitors note high interest in sustainable solutions, with the French industry putting time into automation, expansion, and current day robotisation.

Tomorrow we're providing you with a full photo report - but let's have a quick look at what happened in France already!

Compopac delivers various products of cellulose. They see the market is ready for change: and their support twines and nets were seen as a practical, forward-looking alternative by growers, packers and partners alike. "More and more people understand that we need to do more for the environment, and that the future must move away from plastic and towards compostable solutions. Starting the year with such open, forward-thinking discussions gives us confidence that 2026 will be a year of real progress."

The Europrogress team had three interesting - and intense - days to discuss current and upcoming projects. They will also be at the Berlin trade show Fruit Logistica.

By the end of March, 25 new robots will be sent to the Aisprid robots - a great start of the year for the company. "From April, we will accelerate the pace with no less than 5 robots produced each month", the team shared at Sival this week. No wonder they are smiling!

And of course team Cultilene is present as well. Tomorrow more!
