The route of the demonstration, declared by FNSEA, was validated by the prefecture.

On Wednesday morning, the French Minister for Agriculture commented on social network X. "The farmers' mobilization reflects a legitimate concern, which I fully understand. As always, I appeal for calm and respect for people and property."

Luc Smessaert, vice-president of FNSEA, explained to BFMTV on Wednesday morning that farmers are determined to remain in Paris until their demands are heard. "If we do not get this meeting (with the Prime Minister), we will stay as long as it takes." A delegation of farmers was received at Matignon at 2pm on Wednesday.
