Van den Borne Group has acquired Rutec Group. With this acquisition, the companies aim to strengthen their growth in the irrigation market across the Benelux, the United Kingdom and the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland).
"We are very pleased with the acquisition of Rutec Group. This step allows us to continue our growth and further develop our position as the preferred supplier of irrigation systems in all our markets. Rutec Group's family-owned character and its role as a knowledge-driven and reliable partner align closely with our own values. This makes the combination a natural one, where one plus one truly equals three," said Jelle van Geel, CEO of Van den Borne Group.
Gert-Jan de Ruiter and Maurice di Stefano, owners of Rutec Group, also expressed their enthusiasm about the transaction. "We are very positive about joining forces with Van den Borne Group and see this as an important next step for our companies. We are pleased to have found a partner that matches our ambitions and can accelerate our joint growth, while preserving our company identity and our focus on employees. Rutec Group and its companies will continue to operate in the same way after the acquisition, while also benefiting from the synergies within the new group. We look to the future with confidence and to achieving our shared ambitions."
