lifting the greenhouse, lifting the standard

"Warmer summers require a larger air buffer to create a stable climate"

If it all goes as planned — and it certainly looks that way — the crew of Dool International is ready to leave Austria in the coming days. But not before completing the project at Gartenbau Sattler. The company is having its greenhouse raised from 4.50 to 6.20 meters.

At Gartenbau Sattler, cherry tomatoes are grown for the local market. The traditional family business, run by second-generation growers Lukas and Viktoria Sattler, works together with their business partner, the Zeiler nursery, to supply the Austrian market with delicious tomatoes.

They are now upgrading their 5-hectare greenhouse. Their location in the sunny Seewinkel region of northern Burgenland provides excellent climatic conditions for growing and harvesting tomatoes, but summers have become more challenging. That's why they reached out to the Dool International team, which specializes in raising greenhouses.

"Warmer summers require a larger air buffer to create a stable climate. In addition to raising the greenhouse, we're also installing a fog system to ensure an optimal indoor climate," the team shares. "A large team is on site and working hard to complete the project before the holidays."
