Driving through any agricultural region, it quickly becomes clear that greenhouses are not the only steel and plastic giants shaping the landscape. Alongside them stand all kinds of constructions sometimes improvised brick buildings or structures each grower has adapted over time to store tools, machinery or simply protect daily work. "The curious thing is that for decades no one in the industry had thought of designing an agro industrial warehouse as a product in its own right, with its own identity and structure, separate from the greenhouse. Until now," explains Antonio J. González, CEO of Inveurop.
"We are a greenhouse manufacturer, but within our range we already had agro industrial warehouses. What we have done now is take them out of the greenhouse context to give growers a new storage option." That is how Kubo Pro, Kubo Max and Kubo Elite were born, "three warehouse lines designed for very different customer profiles, from family farms to companies with complex organizational structures."

González admits that inspiration partly came from the market itself. "Warehouses were getting a lot of visibility on social media. Unlike greenhouses, every farmer needs a place where tractors and equipment do not sit outdoors. And just like greenhouses, Kubo warehouses can be processed under a greenhouse license, which avoids the costs of a traditional block building."
"And a block building pays property tax and requires a major construction permit. Ours does not, and on top of that it costs half as much," he stresses.
The Kubo family is structured around three models, each with its own dimensions, finishes and insulation levels. "Kubo Pro starts at 8 by 10 meters, 80 square meters, and reaches standard formats of 8 by 20 meters, 160 square meters. It can include a 15 cm concrete slab as an option and is built with 0.5 mm pre coated steel sheet."

"Kubo Max is the most versatile model. From 10 by 10 meters, 100 square meters, up to 10 by 20 meters, 200 square meters, it incorporates sandwich panels with polyurethane insulation on the sides and front. Kubo Elite is the jewel of the range. Its minimum size is 15 by 20 meters, 300 square meters, with standard versions of 15 by 40 meters, 600 square meters. The entire building, including the roof, is made of sandwich panels, turning it into a highly insulated warehouse. Elite also allows automated opening of double leaf sliding doors."
González does not hide his enthusiasm. "We may well be the first to give agro industrial warehouses their own visibility."

A cross sector demand from horticulture to equestrian
What started as a solution designed for horticultural growers has caught the attention of unexpected profiles. "Professionals in vegetables, berries or pitahaya already know our greenhouses, but we have also received interest from extensive crop farmers and even from people in the equestrian world asking for information."
Grower perception is beginning to shift. "If a warehouse can cost half as much as a traditional building, not be subject to property tax and be processed as a greenhouse, the question is no longer whether it makes sense, but why no one did it before."
