The TSW 2026 Fruit and Vegetable Industry Fair will take place on Saturday, January 24, 2026, in Kielce, Poland. As in previous years, it will host the 13th Strawberry Conference, a key event for strawberry growers. The conference will be led by Mariusz Podymniak of jagodnik.pl.
The presentations will cover current issues in strawberry cultivation, including pest and disease management, rational fertilization, plantation establishment, evaluating nursery stock, and cultivation methods both in tunnels and open fields.

Speakers will address topics such as controlling spider mites and other mites in light of restrictions on acaricides, with insights from Dr. Wojciech Piotrowski of InHort. Jacek Witkowski from Timac Agro Polska will discuss phosphorus and calcium fertilization before establishing new plantations, highlighting how these nutrients support high-quality yields. Protection against gray mold, with a focus on practical solutions, will be explained by Tomasz Domański of Agrosimex.
Further presentations include guidance on selecting and managing frigo seedlings of classes A-, A, A+, and A++, delivered by Patrycja Nawrot of the Niewczas Strawberry Nursery. Fertilization strategies for tunnels and soil will be presented by Magdalena Cieślak Włodarczyk from Yara Poland. Mariusz Podymniak and Mateusz Włodarski will share the results of the Strawberry Inspirations project.
Karolina Felczak Konarska from Procam will speak about identifying and combating new pathogens on plantations. Dr. Artur Godyń of InHort will cover effective spraying techniques for strawberry crops, and Dr. Eng. Radosław Łaźny of Plon Expert will explain the role of silicon and sulfur in building plant immunity.
The conference will conclude with a panel discussion on strawberry varieties for the upcoming season. Representatives from nurseries, breeding companies, and growers will explore market trends, variety needs, and the profitability of production.
