"With a view to the quality and safety of the material we supply, we believe that grafted plants offer decisive agronomic advantages over the seedlings obtained from ungrafted seeds. This is because they integrate the genetic characteristics of commercial cultivars (scions) with the physiological vigour and biotic and abiotic resistance of the rootstocks. The result are plant organisms characterised by greater health and tolerance to soil-borne pathogens, increased vegetative vigour and productivity, better resilience to environmental stresses, greater uniformity and qualitative stability of fruit production.
