Turkey's central location makes it an ideal destination to visit if you are coming from Asia, the Middle East, North Africa, or Europe — and meeting up with growers and investors from these regions is exactly why many exhibitors are present at GrowTech Antalya 2025. The tradeshow is taking place this week.

The Turkish horticultural market itself has a strong background and history, but, as mentioned before, it also has its challenges. With the exchange rate being one of the most volatile, the industry still consists of many smaller farms with a lower innovation rate, which justifies fewer investments.

Geothermal Energy
An important development being seen is the use of geothermal energy to warm greenhouse zones. Currently, three of these zones make use of heat from the ground, and companies like Enorpa advise growers on optimal use of this heat, helping to reduce investment costs.
Yet, many exhibitors are present at the show to meet with growers and investors from the Middle East, which has seen interesting, high-tech (and expensive) projects developed over the last decade. In addition, Central Asian participants traditionally attend the show to catch up on new developments in the industry.
Later on, we'll provide you with a full photo report of the tradeshow.
