Participants will learn about heat recovery, irrigation driven by plant demand, water purification, and nutrient reuse from drain water. They'll also get clear steps on calculating and reducing their hortifootprint. Experts from Wageningen University & Research, Cultilene, Van der Ende Group, Hoogendoorn, and LetsGrow will share their knowledge, and guest speaker Reinier van den Berg — a well-known Dutch meteorologist and sustainability advocate — will provide extra inspiration. The event concludes with a drinks session where growers can connect and exchange ideas.
This event is designed for Dutch growers who want to make their cultivation strategy both more sustainable and more efficient. Together with the organizing partners, the program will show how residual flows can be turned into real value for both crops and business results.
The event takes place on Thursday, December 4, 2025, from 14:00 to 18:00 at TomatoWorld in Honselersdijk. The language of the event is Dutch.
