This year's event will feature three new local launches from Sakata. Niger F1 is a new okra variety offering a long harvesting season and improved yield. In addition to the new releases, Sakata will showcase a range of proven varieties that continue to deliver reliable results for Nigerian growers. The tomato varieties Emerald F1 and Amiral F1 are known for their firmness, disease resistance, and ability to withstand transport. The sweet pepper lines Hulk F1 and Espartano F1 offer high yields, extended shelf life, and adaptability to diverse climates. Among the cabbages, Powerslam F1 and Red Jewel F1 stand out for their fast maturity, strong disease resistance, and excellent holding capacity. The carrot variety Nativa F1 delivers early maturity, uniform roots, and strong disease resistance, while the cucumber Volta F1 performs well under hot, dry conditions with excellent eating quality.
