Authorities in Uzbekistan have identified environmental violations at several greenhouses in the Tashkent region. According to the General Prosecutor's Office, together with the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change, night inspections were conducted in Tashkent city and surrounding districts.
During the inspections, harmful emissions were detected due to missing filtration systems in the boiler rooms of certain greenhouses. Specifically, violations were found in facilities located in the Tashkent and the Qibray districts.
Administrative protocols have been drawn up against the owners of the affected greenhouses under the national Code of Administrative Responsibility.
Authorities stated that inspections will continue across the region to ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards in greenhouse operations.
