Regarding the production goals for the upcoming season, Kula Mayor Hikmet Donmez said the following: "Our geothermal technology greenhouse serves as both a manufacturing area and a catalyst for employment and economic growth in our district. We will supply both domestic and foreign markets with premium, traceable products after planting 155,000 seedlings this season."
Kula will become a model district for geothermal greenhouse horticulture in Turkey thanks to this infrastructure, which boosts domestic output, Mayor Donmez noted. Kula District Governor Talha Altuntas said during the event that the project is important on a regional and national level: "Kula is genuinely proud of today. We are exhibiting a creative vision in agriculture by making sensible and sustainable use of our geothermal resources. This greenhouse will serve as a model for the entire area, not only Kula.
Altuntas stated that this facility ushers in a new era for modern agricultural practices for young growers and that soilless agriculture will be the model of the future.
