"With precision nanotechnology, we achieve more than 300% efficiency in calcium applications".

Nanotechnology has made a strong entry into modern agriculture, and Agrostock is among the pioneering companies that have managed to turn this scientific concept into a practical and efficient tool for plant nutrition.

Its line of products using NanoCrop technology, backed by the ENC patent Elemento Nano carrier, combines bio stimulation, bio protection and precision nutrition, placing the company at the forefront of smart agriculture.

Nanoparticles: molecular precision in the field
"The first thing we need to understand," explains Hugo, Agrostock technician for Latin America, "is that we work with nanoparticles and not nanomaterials or nanometric aggregates.

Since they are nanoparticles, we guarantee that their three dimensions remain within the nanometric scale 1 to 100 nanometers. Our nanoparticles range between 10 and 50 nanometers and because they are stabilized with ENC, they are highly reactive and bioavailable for the plants."

These nanoparticles, formed by metallic oxides such as ZnO, CaO and CuO, have a key advantage: passive absorption without energy consumption ATP. "Unlike conventional fertilizers, Agrostock nanoparticles enter the plant without forcing it to spend energy, a process known in plant physiology as passive transport, which is essential to optimize metabolism."

The ENC patent: the core of the innovation
The ENC patent Elemento Nano carrier is at the center of Agrostock technology. "Our patent neutralizes the electrical charge of the nanoparticle and prevents it from growing. This keeps its size within the nanometric range and ensures stability," Hugo explains. "The bio recognition created by ENC allows the nanoparticles to pass through the foliar or root epidermis without physiological barriers."

"In fact, laboratory tests show that nanoparticles applied by foliar spray are detected in the roots 48 hours later, and vice versa, confirming internal bidirectional mobility. Using transmission electron microscopy, we have verified that in less than 24 hours the nanoparticles are already present in the vascular tissues of the plant," he adds.

Proven efficiency and controlled release
"The efficiency of the ENC technology is clear in the results. In tomato trials, we obtained efficiency above 300 percent compared with conventional solutions. In applications with NanoCrop Calcium, for example, results showed 4.83 milligrams of calcium pectate compared with 3.68 milligrams in traditional products, even though the calcium concentration in NanoCrop was ten times lower 1.4 percent versus 13.28 percent."

"This proves gradual and complete ionic release, which improves cell wall structure and supports fruit quality."

Bio stimulation and active photosynthesis
"Another key effect of the ENC patent is bio stimulation. Three hours after application, we see improvement in stomatal conductance. After six hours we see higher efficiency in photosystem I, and after 48 hours we see an increase in electron transport rate, which improves ATP production."

"The essential point of these results is the improvement of photosynthesis so that plants can produce the metabolic energy required for their metabolism. We have measured increases of 3 to 4 Brix degrees in petiole cell extract, showing more efficient photosynthesis and higher sugar production, which becomes the energy battery for ATP production," Hugo says.

Nanotechnology against abiotic stress
Current agriculture faces increasingly complex challenges: salinity, drought, degraded soils, and extreme temperatures that limit mineral uptake. Increased CO2 adds to this imbalance. NanoCrop from Agrostock acts by overcoming the barriers that block nutrient absorption under these conditions. "Our technology allows eco physiological adaptability in crops and delivers nutrients directly where they are needed," says Hugo. "While environmental, soil and human caused conditions can be limiting factors, crops treated with NanoCrop keep their metabolism active, avoiding and reducing reactive oxygen species ROS that cause oxidative stress."

"The result is more efficient, balanced and resilient plants, with lower dependence on chemical products, higher productivity and better sustainability. NanoCrop represents the future of smart agriculture: multifunctional formulations that combine bio stimulation, bio protection and precision nutrition," he concludes.
