NL: Strawberry grower commissions residential park: "Investing in people"

The fast-growing and ambitious strawberry producer Royal Berry has finally received approval to build permanent housing for its employees. In an interview with De Gelderlander, owner Jan van Genderen shared the latest progress on the residential park, which will eventually accommodate around 400 workers. At the moment, most of Royal Berry's international team still live in mobile homes on one of the company's sites. According to the current schedule, the first building of the new complex should be completed by March 2026.

Royal Berry is also expanding its greenhouse operations. The company is both constructing new facilities and converting existing ones. With the purchase of 18 hectares of greenhouses in Egchel, Royal Berry will increase its total cultivation area to 75 hectares as of December 1.
