CGC gets ready for day 2

The second day of the Canadian Greenhouse Conference is about to start and we are ready for it. Question is - is everybody else? The event is notorious for the combination of the day and night networking Margaritavilla not happening might have effect on the second day vibes and energy.

Yesterday, those vibes were well as many growers found their way to the event, with a lot of famous greenhouse enterprises being represented. The Canadian industry is doing OK after all - it's mainly the US counterparts that are dealing with ongoing insecurities.
But let's talk greenhouses! With labour continuing to keep growers awake at night, automation in every aspect of growing is of interest. Special attention for fertilizers and resilient growing, new (resistant) varieties and the climatic conditions - after one of the longest and hottest summers in decades, and of course LEDs and the ongoing price war.

Well, we'll be on the lookout for more and taking pictures everywhere as the photo report is to be published on Monday - see you in a bit! And don't forget to drop by in time if you want to pick up a free Greenhouse Guide - we only have a few left in booth 2013.
