Church Brothers Farms has expanded into the retail salad kit category with the debut of Little Gems Salad Kits, a fresh innovation designed for today's health-conscious shopper. Available in Caesar, Champagne, Creamy Chipotle, and Miso Ginger, the kits feature buttery, crisp Little Gem lettuce, dressings made with avocado oil, and proportioned 8.5oz bags to help reduce waste.
The kits feature a fresh, modern look designed to connect with younger generations who gravitate towards clean, neutral designs rather than the current primary colors of most produce packaging. Designed for versatility, they cater to consumers looking for quick meals that don't compromise on quality or nutrition. They also include a "Boost Your Plate" protein call-out, offering suggestions on what to pair with each kit in order to meet daily protein goals.

The kits come in Champagne, Caesar (both above), Creamy Chipotle, and Miso Ginger flavors.
"As a Millennial working mom, I can relate to what today's consumers are looking for: convenient, great-tasting options with trusted ingredients, the right portions, and something I can feel good about serving to my family," said Tracy Carranza, vice president of retail sales at Church Brothers Farms. "Shoppers have gotten tired of cabbage- and kale-heavy kits, but there haven't been many alternatives until now."
Alongside this product launch, the company has also unveiled a new website, www.churchbrothers.com, part of a broader initiative to grow its retail presence. The redesigned site offers a more consumer-friendly experience, including a brand-new Recipes section that provides inspiration for using its fresh vegetable products at home.

"Our new website reflects the same spirit of freshness and innovation as our Little Gems Salad Kits, and speaks the visual language of today's shopper," said Loree Dowse, vice president of marketing & communications. "The clean, modern packaging of the kits mirrors our commitment to creating an engaging, consumer-forward brand presence online. Both initiatives are about making it easier—and more inspiring—for people to enjoy fresh vegetables every day."
The kits will be available to sample at the upcoming IFPA Global Produce & Floral show October 17 and 18, booth #1175.
