Greenhouse complex expands production in Kazakhstan

The "GREEN ECO" greenhouse complex in Almaty Region operates with fifth-generation hydroponic technology for year-round cultivation. The fully automated system relies on organic nutrients and natural peat, with no pesticides, chemical fertilizers, or GMOs.

The facility produces more than 30 types of products, including lettuce in pots, salad mixes, microgreens, and edible flowers. Annual output reaches around 5 million pots of greens, or more than 60 tons per month.

The facility is equipped with modern technology from Denmark, Germany, and Italy, while quality control meets international standards.

For irrigation, the complex relies on artesian water from a depth of 250 meters and applies energy-saving technologies. The project is valued at 2.1 billion tenge (€4 million), with a second stage of expansion of greenhouse capacity planned.
