On October 1, Gabriël van der Kruijk assumed the position of director at LetsGrow.com.
In recent years, LetsGrow.com has invested substantially in its platform. Beyond gathering data from various sources in dashboards, the company has increasingly focused on translating this data into concrete, actionable insights. This approach enables predictable and scalable cultivation, in some cases even remotely. The next step for LetsGrow.com is to advance further from observation to direct action.
Peter Hendriks, who is currently leading LetsGrow.com: "LetsGrow.com is growing rapidly, both domestically and internationally. This growth requires strengthened leadership that combines entrepreneurship, digital expertise, and an understanding of our sector. Gabriël brings exactly that profile: as the founder of several tech companies, with experience at leading players such as Rijk Zwaan and Koppert, and with a proven ability to come up with innovative solutions together with customers. With him, we have the right leader on board to shape the next phase for LetsGrow.com."
Extensive experience
Van der Kruijk has extensive experience with digitalization and artificial intelligence in international greenhouse horticulture. At Rijk Zwaan, he laid the foundation for digital services, and at Koppert, he shaped the Koppert One platform and the award-winning Digital Assistant. Always in close co-creation with growers worldwide. With his arrival, he returns to his roots: leading a tech company with a distinct entrepreneurial mindset.

Gabriël van der Kruijk: "Companies are getting bigger, experienced growers are becoming scarcer, and the amount of data is growing explosively. My ambition is to strengthen LetsGrow.com's position as the platform that addresses these challenges and offers entrepreneurs scalability and continuity. This can only be achieved in co-creation with the entrepreneurs, by listening carefully to their challenges and wishes. I look forward to working together with my new colleagues to explore how we can use our current solutions to support more growers, and what further developments are needed to meet tomorrow's challenges."
