US: University of Arizona to host aquaponics workshop

Join The University of Arizona on October 17–18 for its 2025 Aquaponics Workshop. Whether you're a beginner or looking to scale up your system, this hands-on and interactive workshop will cover everything you need to know about designing, operating, and optimizing small to medium-scale aquaponics systems. Topics include: System design fundamentals, Tank sizing and pump selection, Filtration and plumbing layout, Plant production in aquaponics, Nutrient dynamics and water quality management, Troubleshooting common issues, Sustainable practices and innovations, and more.

The event will be held in person at the UA Controlled Environment Agriculture Center (CEAC) in Tucson, Arizona, and also available online via Zoom for remote participants.

All attendees will receive digital workshop materials, have opportunities to engage with instructors during live Q&A, and tour working aquaponics systems on-site. In-person registration is limited, so reserve your spot early! Virtual attendees will receive Zoom access links after registration.
