From 23 to 25 September 2025, the eleventh edition of Seed meets Technology took place at Vertify in Zwaagdijk-Oost, the Netherlands. This year, the exhibition floor was expanded, giving even more companies the chance to showcase their products. A brand-new addition was Seed meets Talent on Thursday, a career fair with job opportunities in the seed sector. Thanks to this, the event remained lively and buzzing right up until the very last day.

Visitors with a keen eye once again discovered plenty of innovations in the world of seed technology. For instance, there was a climate chamber that uses CO₂ as a refrigerant, ultrasound is now being applied for seed sorting, and new solutions continue to emerge in seed treatment. Not surprisingly, one of the two main themes of the fair was Green on Seed, alongside the hot topic of AI in the seed industry. Both themes were supported by a packed speaker program, ensuring there was plenty to learn and discuss throughout the event.
