NL: Management change at Vreugdenhil - Klugt

As of September 16, 2025, Eric in 't Veld has stepped down as Managing Director of Vreugdenhil Young Plants and Klugt Quality Plants (together known as Vreugdenhil Klugt Bedrijven). His responsibilities are being handed over to Koos van der Klugt, with whom he has shared the management of the company.

This decision was made in close consultation. Over the past years, despite personal challenges following a physical injury, Eric has led the company with great dedication. He has now indicated that it is no longer possible for him to fulfill the role of Managing Director in the way he feels is needed.

Although Eric is stepping back from daily management, he will remain closely involved with the company as a board member of the STAK. In this capacity, he will focus more on governance and strategic issues.

Continuation of company integration
With the appointment of Koos van der Klugt as Managing Director, the company continues the course it has set with the integration of Vreugdenhil and Klugt. This marks another step forward in the company's development. Koos is a successful plant grower who brings with him a wealth of organizational experience. Working closely with the management team, the board, and all employees, he is committed to further strengthening the company's position.

The company's focus remains unchanged: working closely with customers, and continuing to invest in quality and product development.

The STAK board, the management, and all employees of VKB would like to thank Eric for his dedication and hard work over the past years, and they are pleased that he will continue to contribute in his new role.
