Agroponiente opens its new Primores facilities

Grupo Agroponiente celebrated the official opening of its new Agroponiente Primores centre, located in Calle Escultores in La Mojonera, Almeria, Spain, on Wednesday, September 17. This opening emphasizes its ongoing focus on growth, sustainability, and maintaining a strong community connection with growers.

The event was led by Imanol Almudí, the company's CEO, and brought together many local growers, the Agroponiente team, and government officials. Among the officials were La Mojonera's Mayor, José Miguel Hernández; the Agriculture Councillor, Paqui Pardo; and the Town Planning Councillor, Rocío Vega, who stressed that this new project is very important for the local economy and the fruit and vegetable industry in Almeria.

During his speech, Imanol Almudí emphasized that these facilities exemplify Agroponiente's dedication to innovation, efficiency, and sustainability: "Today we are not merely inaugurating a building, we're initiating a new phase that positions Agroponiente at the forefront of the sector, always hand in hand with our growers and with the firm intention of generating a positive impact on society and the environment", he stated.

The new center's state-of-the-art infrastructure optimizes logistics and product quality, enhancing the company's ability to deliver the highest standards to its national and international clients.

Mayor José Miguel Hernández highlighted the importance of Agroponiente as an economic engine for the municipality: "La Mojonera is proud to host this project, which not only creates jobs and opportunities, but also strengthens our town's role as the heart of Almeria's agriculture."

The Councillor for Agriculture, Paqui Pardo, appreciated the company's efforts to strengthen the connection with local farmers, while the Councillor for Town Planning, Rocío Vega, emphasized the importance of these new facilities for the urban and industrial growth of the municipality.
