"PopFest '25 will be fast-paced, practical and pioneering across KWS Vegetables open field crops: Spinach, Beans, Red Beet, and Swiss Chard, from agronomy perspective to value chain impact. We're combining the world's largest spinach demo field with in-depth knowledge sharing and powerful networking opportunities," says René van Meijel, Global Customer Team Lead at KWS Vegetables. "Whether you're a grower, packer processor or retail, this is where you come to challenge what's next."
Inspiration station
This year's Inspiration Station delivers a new series of compact and high-impact knowledge sessions, designed to spark conversations and discover new opportunities. Featuring experts from across the industry, each session explores a vital question facing growers, retailers, and innovators in the vegetable space.
On Tuesday, September 23, the focus will be on all crops. Topics include: What's the shortcut to resistance breeding in spinach, beans, and beets? And will future-proofing soil also future-proof your business?
On Wednesday, September 24, the spotlight shifts to beans and spinach. Sessions will ask: What's the secret to longer shelf life for green beans? Can fresh beans win the convenience meal market? And can new eating moments fuel spinach growth?
On Thursday, September 25, red beet takes center stage. Key questions include: How do we turn the red beet into a movement? And how do we stay ahead of an emerging threat?
These sessions will be hosted by knowledge leaders and provide valuable insights and takeaways, ensuring that participants leave equipped with both the knowledge and inspiration to drive their businesses forward.
The PopFest Open Days will take place at the R&D station, Dijkweg 82, in Andijk and can be visited by appointment for customers and relations. If you want to join the PopFest Open Days, contact your KWS Vegetables Account Manager.
