Planasa has appointed Ronnie Kersten as Business Development Director for Northern Europe, effective October 2025.
Kersten has more than 20 years of experience in the berry sector, with a focus on blueberries and strawberries. His previous roles include positions at Legro, Fall Creek Farm & Nursery, De Kemp, and Fresh Forward Breeding, where he worked across plant genetics, cultivation, market development, and customer engagement.

At Planasa, he will take responsibility for business development in Northern Europe, including growth strategies and partnership building. The appointment is intended to reinforce the company's presence in the region and its work with growers.
