Two weeks ago, LettUs Grow hosted growers, partners, and innovators at its Heath Farm Open Day 2025. The event combined crop walks, technology demonstrations, thought-provoking talks, and a lively industry panel, creating a forum for discussion about the future of the controlled environment agriculture (CEA) industry.

The program included an Advanced Aeroponics™ Technology Showcase presented by CTO Ben Crowther and a Crop Showcase led by Head Grower Andrew Worrall, featuring spinach, basil, lettuce, and other crops. The Innovation Spotlight featured Jack Farmer, who explored the science behind aeroponics, followed by Charles Veys of FOTENIX discussing advances in plant sensing, and Kyle Freedman, PhD, of Jiffy Group, who introduced the development of Jiffy Gel as a future growing medium.

The day concluded with an interactive panel discussion hosted by Oscar Davidson, examining the state of the CEA industry. The panel included experts Renko Schuil of TTA-ISO ISO, Antonio dos Santos of HT Verboom Transportsystemen, and Patrick Harte of CambridgeHOK.
