World’s first hectare-scale spectral filtering solar installation

Voltiris has unveiled the video of its recent flagship installation in Rütihof, Switzerland. The project was presented live to approximately 80 partners during a site visit to Meier Gemüse last week.

Commissioned in early June, the installation includes 1,736 Voltiris solar modules producing up to 1 MWh of renewable energy per day. It was completed in just four weeks and integrated seamlessly with the greenhouse operations, requiring no building permit and no interruption to production.

This success demonstrates to growers worldwide that a new way to integrate renewable energy in greenhouses is possible. Voltiris will now focus on deploying its solution with more growers throughout Europe and beyond.
