"Expanded offering alongside our familiar greenhouse vegetable assortment"

Dutch trading company NJ Witkamp looks back on a great year in which the company has once again made clear strides in growth. With a strengthened team, the expansion of its own Jackpot brand, and an ever-widening customer base, the organisation is determined to build further this winter season.

Jackpot expands further
"The Jackpot brand once started as a label for vine tomatoes, but has since grown into a recognizable quality brand within the fresh produce sector. This year, the range has been further expanded to include Turkish aubergines, pointed peppers, and regular peppers. Jackpot stands for quality and reliability. The brand helps us market our products recognizably and distinctively. By further expanding the assortment this year, we can serve customers even better and fulfil our growth ambitions," says Morris Peters of NJ Witkamp.

Winter season: From standard to complete package
© WitkampWhereas NJ Witkamp used to be known primarily as a supplier of standard greenhouse vegetables such as peppers, tomatoes, and cucumbers, today, a more extensive team is ready to present a much broader programme. The winter season is an important focus in this respect. Besides the familiar range of greenhouse vegetables, NJ Witkamp now also offers a wider selection, allowing customers to increasingly opt for a complete assortment. As a result, the company is gradually developing into a total supplier and can respond more flexibly to market dynamics.

Fresh force: Sidar Dogan
One of the new faces in the team is Sidar Dogan. He is focused on strengthening NJ Witkamp's position in the Spanish season. "I am extremely excited to get started and further strengthen our position in the market. Paprika is one of the products I am focusing on, but certainly not the only one. I am also focusing on class II trading, which will help us reach new customers and expand our sales area. With my enthusiasm and motivation, I hope to contribute to the further growth of NJ Witkamp."

"Europe remains the core market for NJ Witkamp. This is where the main collaborations with both customers and suppliers lie, and this forms the foundation on which our company continues to build," Morris says. "At the same time, the international scope is growing steadily: NJ Witkamp now supplies worldwide. From the heart of Westland, our company manages to reach more and more customers, with reliability and short lines of communication always remaining central."

Looking ahead to winter season
NJ Witkamp is confidently looking forward to the upcoming season. "With a stronger team, the expansion of the Jackpot brand and a much broader winter program, the company aims to continue growing on all fronts this winter."
