The Valley Growers have started working with a GearStation, a system powered by AI technology. A camera inside the GearStation takes photos of every box to check the quality of the tomatoes.
When Gearbox proposed running a pilot with the GearStation at Growers United, the growers at The Valley were immediately enthusiastic (link is in Dutch). The project was carried out in partnership with Taks, who handled the logistics line, and Ridder, who provided the labor registration system.
