P+W Eckhardt, Köhl GmbH, a well-known provider of software and checkout solutions for the fresh produce sector, has filed for bankruptcy at the Saarbrücken District Court. The company was primarily dedicated to developing practical software and hardware solutions for use in wholesaling, markets, mobile sales, and mobile field service.

Founded in 1997, the company was a recognized industry supplier and attended numerous trade fairs, such as expoSE, BioFach, Fruchtwelt Bodensee, and the Norddeutsche Obstbautage in Jork.
