Hosted by the World Vegetable Center, the biennial event will feature plenary sessions on hottest topics in peppers right now: from viral, bacterial and fungal diseases, to arthropod pests, nutrition, abiotic stresses and other production challenges. There will also be a public-private sector roundtable on new technologies including genomics and phenomics to advance pepper breeding. Day Four will be devoted entirely to pepper field visits so that participants can witness innovations in action.
