Grodan and Hoogendoorn Growth Management have joined forces to integrate rootzone data from Grodan's GroSens sensors directly into the IIVO climate computer. This integration hopes to provide growers with direct access to accurate, reliable rootzone sensor data - enabling smarter, faster, and more precise irrigation decisions.
This collaboration builds on Grodan's recent launch of the GroSens API, which allows seamless connectivity between GroSens and a wide range of climate and irrigation control systems. Now, IIVO users can view GroSens rootzone data alongside other vital greenhouse parameters within a single interface - reducing the need to switch between platforms. Growers will also benefit from near real-time individual sensor-level root zone data, gaining insights into substrate conditions to support faster data-driven decision making.
